Hi Guys,

I finally got some pics taken of the car that i Detailed on Saturday. I must say, it was quite a machine.I got quite abit of pics so i just thought since it is my first official post with pics, ill add some good pics. Only Downside is that i used my Nokia N90 to take pics so im sorry for the bad reflection shots. I worked alone so it basically took me +- 6 hours.
I was quite happy and yet silver doesnt show that much.

The process i followed was as follows:
1. Washed With Gold Class Shampoo - 2 Bucket System
2.Clayed with Chemical guys clay bar Using Last touch as Lubricant.
3.To remove scratches i first Used DC1 with the Shield Orbital Machine, Followed by hand.
4. Applied Chemicals Guys Laser buff with machine.Surprisingly, i achieved some good correction on the bonnet.Done a few passes though.The only thing i didnt like about this product is that it is quite dusty.
5. Used NXT Tech wax as my LSP.
6.Wheels Treated with Endurance Tyre Gel and mags followed with Cleaner wax.
7.Rubbers treated with GC Trim Detailer.
8. Windows Cleaned with Chemicals Guys Window Cleaner.
9. Leather treated with GC leather cleaner and conditioner.
10. Carpets wiped with Chemicals guys Fabric Cleaner followed by Chem Guys Fragrance.
11. Dash cleaned with Nxt Tech Protect.

This is the wheel while in the process of washing.
Used a Strong mixture of NXT Shampoo and Water. Dilution must have been about NXT:Water - 1:5

Pictures were taken when the sun was setting so the reflection shots were not that deep.Would've loved to see the car in the sun.

lol, the pics are big, because there is no auto resizing on Waxon.... what you post is what you see

You have attained some decent results there, well done!

You are going to be pleasantly surprised how much quicker similar results will be obtained with a purpose built machine

Thats what im waiting for...Maybe a Rotary or DA. Cant wait. Ill post some other pics taht i got correction on with the Shield.

Don, Which compund of Chem guys doesnt dust so much. the laser buff which i have is amazing but what do u think of the Scratch and swirl buff and the Diamond CUt(CG)?

Currently I havent done much testing with the CG compounds, I am still very caught up with Menzerna I will be trying out Laserbuff this weekend though, I will report back on the difference in dusting between that and Menz polishes

What????? You havent done much testing on the CG Compounds.....
But i must say, i kinda love it. Please let me know how it goes and maybe point me in a Dustless direction

There is no such thing as 'dustless' and 'compound' that can be used in the same sentence

Also please resize your pics to 800x600 or at least 1024x768...even with a 20" widescreen I need to scroll sideways

Wait till you see menzerna work. You would not feel the need to try anything else.

The tires are accelera. Its a neat tyre. The guys bring it into the country themselves. They bring and supply basically most of the fitment centres with wheels.

How do i resize the pics.

Just log into your photostand account and there should be an edit option. click that, then go to resize, make them about 1024x768px or 800x600px

I think he was referring to Menz in general Siya but I could be mistaken
