Hi AMD001 ...
I've only cleaned my tailpipes once ... Myself ... I used Meguiar NXT All metal polish ... Although it says cleans and polishes ... It required a lot more "passion" than actual product to clean the black off the tailpipes ... I'm looking for a Sonax Xtreme Rim Cleaner type product to make it interesting !!! Colour changer !!!! Haha!!! ... Other times just some APC with brush/sponge/lappie and then the NXT All Metal Polish ... on another website ... A guy used fine soft-ish steelwool type material with product as well ??? ... ...Back in the day when I was a "laaitie" ... I use to hose water down the tailpipes thinking I was cleaning it ... only to find the exhaust box rusted a few months later ... I actually saw this still being done at a carwash recently ... bliksem!!! |
