Hello guys
The car has not been resprayed. It was previously owned by the chairman of the Porsche Club (He will be at the Liqui Moly Launch) and it has not had anyone touch it.
The car has no scratches. It must have been a spot I missed with the colli. That stuff is a Biatch to get off........
The mark at the back of the door is in fact lens flare
. I also wondered and then checked the car. Its all the camera's fault. lol
The reason the door looks like its been resprayed in the close up shot of the door is because it was parked under a shade port. If you look at the pics I posted a while ago of our GTI you will see a similar effect. Its just how the light reflects through the cloth and onto the paint.
Now that Im done with explaining that there is nothing wrong with the paint.... lol
The car looks much nicer now though... I know that Bilt Hamber takes a few days to fully cure but since then the car is a lot more glossy and looks so smooth. The clay just made all the difference. As well as the Colli. I love it.
Thanks Starvekos.
The engine bay was a pain though... I used tons of Prepsol Cleaner (Highly Recommended and cheap) and even that struggled to remove the crap that was on the metal etc. Even tried engine cleaner at one stage.
