My 1st detail...
#1
After many hours of forum reading, chatting to the pros, and spending LOTS of money, here is some pics of my first detail done on my S2k... The process i followed was:
* Nice good wash incl. engine bay, behind badges, in door jams, etc
* Clayed the car
* Polished with Menz PO 85
* Then a 2nd polish with Menz final finish
* Glazed with poorboys Black hole
* Waxed with Natty's paste blue wax
* Waxed rims with Rimwax
* Treated soft top with Raggtop
* Interior with adams leather and int. cleaner as well as leather conditioner

Please excuse the amatuer pics, i was figuring it out as i went along.

Some before pics:

the swirls weren't too bad but definately needed some TLC.
Some 'during' pics:

Took my rims off to give them a good wash and wax as night approached:

I did the wheel wells with some apc - happy with the result but they are very worn:

Prepped the car for raggtop- That stuff worked brilliantly! I actually did the whole inside of the top as well which made a massive difference.

Took the tail pipe ends off to give them a good polish:

After the end of day 3, i finally got to take some final pics of my project :lol:
