Recipes - Misc - Pumpkin Fritters
Ingredients:
2 eggs - seperated
250 ml Pumpkin - cooked and mashed
50 gr (60ml) sugar
125 gr (250ml) flour - sifted
pinch of salt
5ml bicarbonate of soda
30 ml milk
oil for frying
Method:
Combine egg yolks with pumpkin and sugar. Sift together flour, salt and bicarb
add alternatively with milk.
Beat egg whites until stiff, fold into mixture with a metal spoon.
Spoon mixture into hot oil and brown.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and serve.
