Recipes - Baking - Pancakes



Ingredients:

140 g (250ml) cake flour
5 ml baking powder
2 ml salt
2 eggs
200 ml milk
175 ml water
5 ml lemon juice
125 ml sunflower oil


Method:

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.
Beat the eggs, milk, water and lemon juice together.
Add the flour mixture and mix well.
Add the oil and mix well to obtain a creamy batter.
Set aside for a while.
Grease a frying pan very lightly (or use spray and cook)
Preferrably use a non stick pan, heat it well. Stir the batter and use it to make the pancakes.
If the mixture becomes too thick, add a little milk.

Makes approximately 12 medium pancakes.
