SmartWax at the BMW Show Off

SmartWax at the BMW Show Off
Let me start by thanking Naushad for inviting me to assist him with manning the SmartWax stand and lending a hand in prepping the SmartWax show car. It was super day, learnt a lot from you squire. Wishing you all the best with the brand.

Our show car was corrected by the Last Touch Car Wash team. Car was washed with Meguiar's Shampoo Plus. Compounded with M85 Diamond Cut and refined with M80 Speed Glaze. That's when Naushad and I took over, we glazed the car with Chemical Guys EZ Creme, then protected with SmartWax SmartSealant. A second layer of protection was applied in the guise of SmartWax Concours Paste Wax.

Trim and tyres were dressed using a SmartWax Gel and mags cleaned and protected with SmartWax RimWax.

A couple of pics before hauling the car out of the shade.

The adjudicators of the Show Off did not appreciate our efforts in getting the SmartWax car into showroom condition. None the less, the ultimate winner deserved the accolade. I thought I was a Meguiar's fan, the owner of this red M6 (635ci) only uses Meguiar's.

Nice pics Siya - good to see that the SLR is getting a regular workout.

635ci looks fantastic - well maintained and the red is amazing. I'm assuming that it's not a daily driver. The only downside is that the engine bay is disappointing in the context of the exterior of the car. Looks like it could do with a Springbok makeover.

Both cars were in superb condition!
Well done to Naush and Siya on the SmartWax car... Everyone who walked around to admire it couldn't resist touching the paintwork Bluebiggrin so just Imagine all the prints!!!
A real pity that the rain kinda spoiled things though but that gave trigger happy Siya some pretty good beading shots! LOL Bluebiggrin

We were graced by some America Muscle earlier in the day. Naushad and I demonstrated gloss enhancing abilities of SmartWax SmartDetail spray on one of the Challengers. However, he had to leave before we could demo the wetness created by 5050 Concours paste wax.
