Wink New to Detailing in JHB
Hi all,

My name is Andrew.. I am 25 & a full time student @ UJ. Trying to get my Bcom IT Management Degree... But my passion seems to be more with cars & less with computers/IT

I have not really gotten into Detailing yet, But was thinking in December holidays I would have some free time So would try my hand at giving my car a going over. At this stage I would be doing all the work by hand.

Then I had the idea of maybe I could try convince my dad that if we got a DA & some products etc, I would be able to then do all our cars & keep them all looking new.. Have not tried this route as yet Bluebiggrin

Anyway, I am hoping to learn all the tips & tricks & techniques from you guys that I would need to start working on my car.

Cheers

Andrew

Welcome to the forum bud. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Do tell us what you drive? What colour etc...I'm also a Bcom student, part time though, and just like you, my interest is more with cars too.

Once the detailing bug bites, there's no turning back!

RE: New to Detailing in JHB
Hi,

So ran the idea past my dad about getting a polisher & products & it seemed like he thought it was a good idea Bluebiggrin

I drive a 2000 E46 318i Manual in White

My dad has a 2006 E60 525i Auto in white & a 2004 Jeep GC also white

My mom drives a 2010 E90 320i Auto in white

So these are the cars I would start on

My Fiance has a 1999 opel Corsa 130i Hatch in metalic blue

We also have a 1998 Land Rover Discover 1 V8i thats silver at our holiday house at the coast, if I get a chance I could also work on that
