Avatar: What does it mean-
I'm lazy.

What do you like most about detailing?
The nice shiny car afterwards

What are your favourite products/processes and why?
I like my pressure washer, fantastic for giving a quick wash without touching the car/

What’s your dream car(s) and why?
I change my mind all the time. I'm pretty bad, want a different new car every day...

What’s your favourite previously owned automobile?
My favourite is currently owned. Seat ibiza cupra.

Tell me about your first detail?
Haven't had it yet Tongue

What’s the best thing you’ve learned?
To use a good mitt. Much better than sponges.

What are some of your other hobbies and interests?
Keeping tropical and reef aquariums. Love cars. Also into photography.

Do you have any pets?
A cat and a toy pom.

Name three techniques that you think you should share to fellow Detailers.
n/a Tongue

Where are you from and where do you live now?
From cape town and living in JHB.

What was your first car and what got you interested in keeping cars perfect?
My first car was a ford focus. Basically tried to keep it in top condition. I actually didn't think it was but when I sold it the guy was amazed. Also seen some other cars the same age or newer in much worse condition.

Current automobiles-
Just the seat. GF is looking at buying a Leon Cupra Big Grin (aka my weekend car Tongue)

What motivates you to detail?
My car looks dirty Tongue Which is a lot because it's still living outside...

Would you ever pay someone else to detail your car?
Probably if I had the money. Would prefer to learn though.

Does detailing run in the family at all, or are you the only normal one?
Only one. Parents both have white cars to get from A-B and both extremely dirty.

What is your favourite part about detailing?
The end result.

If detailing is a hobby for you, would you like to do it full time, or do you feel that it would take the fun out of it?
I don't think I'd have the energy to do it full time.

What is your favourite car to detail and why?
n/a

Do you prefer to detail a Supercar or everyday car?
Would be too scared to touch a supercar right now. (Don't touch what you cant afford)

What detailing tool do you think every detailer should have in their arsenal? (Excluding the obvious stuff like wash mitts etc.)
Pressure washer + foam lance.

What are your current favourite brands and why?

What do you do when you’re not detailing?
Work. Either at work or around the house.

A few quick fire questions:

•Ferrari or Lamborghini?
Both.

•Wax or Sealant?
Both.

•Rotary or Orbital Polisher?
Rotary.

•Hamburger & Chips or Healthy food?
Both.

•Coffee or Coke?
Coke.
