RE: PC Rigs and Gaming
Because i spend too much time on waxon. But its nice having a snappy machine. The i920 is nice because it overclocks well. Also I use it to run some rather intensive flight sim software, and that chomps the processor dead.

RE: PC Rigs and Gaming
Yeah I was/is into gaming, more in the lines of BFBC2/ COD4 online gaming, but still play the odd single player.
Got an I7 920 @ 3.8Ghz, Asus P6T Deluxe 3gb Corsair, Asus 4890, Corsair HX 620 PSU and some other bits and bops. It's an endless money pit, but since I started working this year and doing my honours part time and mommy not paying for my stuff anymore, I'm not going to upgrade very soon. What you running Lambchop? |

Used to race online quite a bit in the SARL, but when I moved to Jhb 2 years ago I struggled to get a stable DSL line and didn't race for several months. Since then I've struggled to get back into it and occasionally race offline for a bit of fun - usually before GPs to get a feel for the track. Run the rFactor and LFS racing simulators. Haven't done anything hardware wise for about 3 years and can't even remember what setup I'm running. |

Nice set up LC.
I bought mine about 2 years ago so I am well due for an upgrade, but with a new baby and waxon in my life, doubt that will happen this year. I have: Intel Dual core 2.6ghz cpu Nvidea 8800GT graphics card 4 gig RAM Cant remmember the motherboard or the rest of it. Play mostly 1st person shooters, sports and some car games. COD, Crysis, Prototype, Battlefield. FIFA, Pro EVO. NFS and Grid. Haven't played in a while tho. |

RE: PC Rigs and Gaming
I'd also much rather get a Corsair TX 750, the corsairs are very underrated, i've got the 620 with lots to spare. You will love the build quality of the Lian Li, love mine to bits.
