An afternoon with Megs cleaner wax
Hi guys finally got photobucket to work. Took a few pics of my wintery afternoon session with a bottle of Megs cleaner wax and was very impressed with the results as it gave my white car an excellent clean shine...the wife even wanted me to reclean the car on Sunday to prolong the look...apologies for the poor quality pics as was taken with my phone.
@Carn: Tx for the Col845 and 855 samples. I did not see as much of adifference on my car body workb with the col 845 as I did with the Megs...perhaps I did not apply properly...thanks again for posting to me to test. Thanks for looking |

RE: An afternoon with Megs cleaner wax
Hey dude,
Meg's cleaner wax has some light duty paint cleaners in it which is the reason for the better cleaning results than the 845 which is a pure wax In terms of protection and endurance, I'd wager that 845 will outlast the Cleaner wax! David : 083 642 2118 www.mobileimage.co.za |

RE: An afternoon with Megs cleaner wax
Nice work Jagged , But as Carn says cleaner wax cleans 845 protects
I should have used the 845 on my hands while changing the S3's intercooler They might have come out in better shape |

Nicely done Jagged. White looks bright and lovely reflection shots.
CleanerWax is one of my favourite mild All-in-one product after Meguiar's M66 Quick Detailer. Its a great one step product when you don't have time to clean and protect using multiple steps. |

RE: An afternoon with Megs cleaner wax
nice work Jagged! ... Especially on white !!!
Just a few Q's regarding your experience using Megs Cleaner Wax ... Was it the liquid or paste version? And how did your microfibers look when removing the wax after hazing? I ask because I also used Megs Cleaner paste wax on my Father's D-Cab and brother's cars... Leaves a lot of "wax dust" and Microfibers have a lot of yellow build up which is a "pita" to clean ... Did I apply too much? or Remove too early? Or ??? PS!!! The Collinite was one of the easiest I've used so far ... Application and Removal ... Just my 2c |

RE: An afternoon with Megs cleaner wax
Hi Guys
Many thanks for the feedback.... @ Jughead 1. Was it the liquid or paste version? Liquid Version 2. And how did your microfibers look when removing the wax after hazing? - I confirm that my Microfibre's also seems to retain the "wax dust"...some part of the body work also looked smoggy/dark and after applying the cleaner wax and wiping off I also noticed a bit of black kind of dust in the cloths as well.... PS: No doubt...Col 845 always receives GR8 reviews....perhaps I would get a bigger bottle in the future and apply after my cleaner wax to observe the long term results as compared to the lasting effects of cleaner wax.... Kind regards. |

RE: An afternoon with Megs cleaner wax
I must admit that of all the Megs products I have owned and tried, I have never used Cleaner Wax.
I hear it's also very good on mag wheels. |
