The old Conquest RSI (1.6 16v) was a terrific little car that gave most VW's of the same era a very good run for their money performace wise. Later RSI versions have been nothing more than simply badge jobs IMO, much like VW lost the plot with the GTI's in the Mk III range Hammerhead
