The swirls aren't bad (in my opinion, since I'm no pro).
After I hand polish, the avg guy wouldn't know it was there (i think).

So is there anything in the washing procedure that I need to change?

I would avoid the duster despite the positive praise it recieves. Even with the stickyish fibres & static there are still going to be dust particles being dragged around on the surface creating the potential for swirls
