RE: Polo arches and rims

It works wonders on tar, but keep it handy for removing any sticky or gummy residue. Your rims and arches look great - really top notch work. The only bit of advice from my side would be to clay before using the eucalyptus oil. I found that using the eucalyptus oil first left some oily residue which impacted on the effectiveness of the clay. Alternatively, you would need to ensure that all traces of the eucalyptus oil is properly removed before claying. This also applies when using the eucalyptus oil on paintwork - ensure that the surface is properly cleaned before using a polish or wax as it does impact on the effectiveness of the follow up product. Forgot to add - on the wheel arches, I occasionally use Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray which is very similar to the CG Bare Bones spray. I find that the longevity isn't up to that of a dedicated trim dressing and is more useful as a spruce up product than a long term dressing. I would recommend Aerospace 303 Protectant or Meguiars Ultimate Protectant instead of Bare Bones. |
