Thanks guys.

Most of my attention will be focused on my Golf 4 Cabrio. Want to try sort out as much as I can before I send it into the panel beaters to take care of some scrapes and stone chip damage.

Step 1 will be getting the info on what I need to do first and then getting quality products and tools to sort out the issue.

Carn, I've seen some of your work and it is absolute top class! I hope to be able to detail my own cars the way you do some day.

Baby steps though Bluebiggrin

I want to polish this off the car:

Lots of work ahead of me. These are really old photo's. I have done a polish with a low speed orbital polisher which helped remove some of the lightest scratches and some of the swirl marks.

What really worries me is the roof. After 11 years of exposure to the weather, it's looking really shoddy. Stained brown with caked on dirt, gonna need to sort that out.
