Thanks dude Bluebiggrin

I should have doubled the amount i charged the guy Bluebiggrin

Those stripes were terrible .. The stripes were easy the it was the glue that was never ending . It was really hard to remove off areas that had been exposed to high amounts of heat

But hey im happy with the result.. and the Menzerna Power Lock is fantastic BTW Bluebiggrin

Nice work Nic - I can only image the time and effort that went into removing the stripes.

As a matter of interest - were these stripes on the car from new? Reason for asking is that the one before photo of the bonnet with the stripes removed show evidence of swirling in the paint previously covered by the stripes. I was wondering whether the swirls were there before the stripes were put on, or whether the swirling is a result of the process to remove the stripes and glue residue?

Thanks Woodie

After i removed the stripes I saw quite a few stone chips where the stripes were . So Id say that the car didnt have the stries on sinmce new

I also think i might have caused some type of damage to the paint during the glue removal stage . bit it was minimal

Nice work on the Car... Really nice end result. The blue on the ST is really such a cool colour.
Removing Glue residue is pain ... one of my pet hates with detailing.
So you say the Menz Power Lock is a must get.
What other sealants have you used before that you can compare it to?

Thanks

Didnt say the Menz is a must get but liked the easy on easy off of the product . Made the car look quite nice and the paint was very slick . I dont normally use sealants i always finish off with a Nuba . so decided to give it a try

Nic, glad you liked the sample Bluebiggrin

Vince there are rumours that Blackfire produce Powerlock for Menzerna in the USA, or vice versa. Having used both I can tell you that they are almost identical in terms of colour, consistency, application and removal. The end result (slickness) is also very much the same. I will send you a sample with your other stuff to play with Thumb
