3M '2090' Scotch Blue Painters tape GB

I used up my last 3M tape this past weekend along with Sean's Meguiars sample...Which means it is time to order in a box again. Alas the prices have increased significantly since I last bought a box nearly a year ago, but then again what hasn't


Anyways, for those who were previously interested in a GB, I have put something together for you...

5 rolls @ R190 (R38 ea)

or

10 rolls @ R350 (R35 ea)

What were your thoughts on the Meguiars Tape Dave? I'm guessing that it is largely 3M technology anyway.

It's not bad, pretty similar to the 3M tape but slightly more tacky. Bends just as easily and in some places the extra adhesiveness actually helps it to stick

Does Greg carry the tape now as well, or was this still from your homeland adventure?

Stock from my Northern hemisphere exploits. Tape should be coming in on next shipment which is due to arrive sometime early November if I'm not mistaken. Not sure on pricing though.

Was thinking that it may be worthwhile to see how the pricing compares to the 3M 3434 if you brought it in independently.

I have 2 boxes of the tape as mentioned in my original post. The import 3M tape I don't think anyone has aside from Onyx. Stockists in KZN I have no idea about though!

CD in JHB have 6 units in stock at R43ea, they will post them off to you.

Yip i think i have 3 rolls of the 3M tape left. Not doing much detailing for the next while, but not sure when i might need it though. (otherwise i'd sell them)

It's always recommended to tape up trim, etc when polishing
