				My First Alfa

Hey guys, look what I found in an old photo album.

![]() 1750 GTV but I blew the motor and had a 2000 engine fitted I scanned it and uploaded it for your enjoyment. This was my pride and joy and gave me many miles of exciting motoring. I called it my vacumn cleaner....cos it picked up fluff. It had two twin side draft weber carbs...no fuel injection in those days, and a hand throttle, like an early version of cruise control. I used to apply Turtle Wax and polish it with an old T-shirt. All the bright-work was genuine chrome, no "plastic chrome". |

				RE: My First Alfa

Yeah, thanks for the comments guys:

			1. I would love to have one as a weekend run around. Fully restored and mint. 2. I was young and handsome. ![]() 3. Actually there was a 1300 Junior, a 1600, a 1750 and a 2000.. Also a very rare GTA version. 4. I don't have any of the original papers for the car and that is the only pic I have but as I recall it was circa 1972. 5. My Alfa's going great thanks....I would like to refurb the mags as they are a bit curbed and it spoils the effect. |
