Just out of interest, what cars have you owned and what would you rate the best and worst of the lot?
I'll go first, in order:
Ford Escort 1.3L '89
Ford Laser 1.6i sport '95
Mazda MX6 2.5i V6 '96
Honda Ballade 1.5 '96
BMW 316i '98
BMW 320D '02 Worst car I've ever owned
Mazda Rustler 1.3 '01 <-- current
BMW 320i '03 <-- current Best Car I have ever owned
BMW 540i '94 <-- current

Alfa 156 V6 Ti - 04 (best car)
I also own a Ford Mondeo Estate (wifes car), Hyundai Elantra (daughter's car) and a Golf 2 (son's car). They are in my name for insurance purposes and I get all the speeding fines
but they are not strictly speaking "my' cars.

Best of the lot the GTI without a shadow of a doubt. Worst one I dunno, they all served me well

2007 BMW e92 335i (current)
They were all great cars at the time.. wish I could have kept them all

1984 VW Golf 1600 (dunno the exact year, was a shit car, but run without oil and water, never washed in 2 years)
1990 BMW e30 318i (awesome car, miss it alot, tied for best, but in a different way.)
1990 Mercedes w123 230E (not sure on year, shit car, but it will outlast any of the cars listed here)
1994 BMW e36 M3 (current, really nice car, tied with the e30)

Will be my first car and will pay for it myself. Just getting insurance quotes etc and will buy in June or so....
