Today the VW Club of SA held a Show 'n Shine event at Hatfield VW in Bryanston, Jhb. We were asked to do a detailing demo for the Show 'n Shine on a very sexy almost brand new red R32 Drool

Considering the car has less than 1000km on it at the moment it was really in almost perfect condition aside from some bonded contaminants, a few really nasty hazy areas, some fine swirling and of course some transport wax here and there.

Not much in the way of befores as I said the car was pretty spotless...

Two of the hazy areas, almost looks like someone attacked it with some waterpaper or something Hammerhead

The rims were about the dirtiest bits of the whole car Bluebiggrin

We decided to do a quick 1 step on this one as we didn't have all that much time to complete this one and it wasn't needed TBH. The whole car was polished with AG's SRP on a white LC pad with Menz SIP for the hazy areas and some of the deeper scratches.

After polishing the car was rinsed again and we applied a single layer of 4 Star UPP and finished everything off. Again we were really impressed with finish from the 4*. I am sure Siya will be along soon and he can provide us with a final stamp of approval on the red, afterall he is an expert on red Bluebiggrin

Overall a easy job (for a change) on a fantastic motor car Clap

Henry Ford was ill advised, all cars should be Red.

Lovely finish Carn and Rustbucket. Dripping wet, deep colour, reflections... its all there.

Saint J (and Maldino I presume) have a knack for subtle styling that works. His white Golf 5 GTI was one of the best examples I've seen.

As mentioned earlier, keep the 4* UPP safe, we all want to replicate your results on our own cars.

The R32 is one great car. Just a round the corner of me is a silver R32. Personally the R32 looks best in silver and black for me.

The more I see of this 4* the more tempted I am.

Lovely .:R!

If we didnt have a two year waiting list we would have one in our garage.... We ordered and cancelled it for the GTi cos of how long the wait would be.
