Some contamination in the paint, like black stuff but it does not come off with washing, but when water gets on it it leaves clean water marks, this happens on most of the car, pollution etc I think is the cause

Wheel arches/wells

I would start with a couple of small brushes and clean out all the dirt first.

RE: Andrewbuch's E46 318i - Detailing thread - andrewbuch - 14-11-2011 04:39 AM

I plan on doing it bit by bit over December & Jan when I have some free time. I want to start with the wheels & wheel wells... & while the wheels are off, clean up the rusted sections of the brake disks & paint them black..

Will be getting a floor jack as well to make the process easier..

Will update on the progress as I am still deciding & putting together my kit.

We (as drivers) should have stickers made "Think Car" and stick them on our cars Bluebiggrin
