Audi RS4 - Black - done by Vincent - Vincent - 05-08-2010 09:16 AM So next up is the amazing RS4... this is a car I have always wanted to do as it is def one of my favourite cars. Powered by a Lamborghini V8 motor this thing really hauls. The sound the eminates from the engine and exhausts gives one goose flesh. Def a feather in my cap of Detailing. While I was 'buffing' the Corsa the Audi got a wash by one of the guys working at the dealership. so I got stuck in with Claying... which was badly needed. Plenty of Industrial Fallout on the car. Megs aggressive plus M34 Final inspection as lube. 1st stage - Menz SIP plus CSS orange Pad - Zenith Technique 2nd stage - Megs M80 Speed Glaze plus Megs Yellow polishing pad 3rd stage - PoorBoys BlackHole Glaze plus Megs Black finishing pad 4th stage - Wolfgang Deep Gloss sealant plus Megs Black finishing pad I will let the pics tell the rest of the story 1st a few befores then onto some afters One Direct Before and After done on the Bonnet. Bonnet was a really bad spot for deep swirls and scratches. and now to the show off pics... the final afters Hope you enjoyed Vincent RE: Audi RS4 - Black - done by Vincent - PrevanP - 05-08-2010 09:24 AM Bloody impressive work, Vincent! How long does it take to develop such skill? RE: Audi RS4 - Black - done by Vincent - Vincent - 05-08-2010 09:40 AM Hi PrevanP, well I think it boils down to passion mainly. I think the more you like what you do the better your results will be. I find I really try to read up as much as i can about different techniques and try them out as much as I can. I also have tried numerous products and Pads etc... So as long as you have a teachable spirit and you are always willing to learn and adapt then I think you will be successful. I have been doing this 'Detailing' for about 1.5 years now and I am still light years behind the top guys. I have much to learn and am enjoying every minute of my learning experience. RE: Audi RS4 - Black - done by Vincent - kripstoe - 05-08-2010 11:28 AM I need that car in my life Oh, and job well done! RE: Audi RS4 - Black - done by Vincent - Carn - 05-08-2010 05:59 PM Nicely done Vincent RS4 is still one of the nicest sounding 'big' sedans on the road RE: Audi RS4 - Black - done by Vincent - calypso - 05-08-2010 08:01 PM Car looks great, nice work. RE: Audi RS4 - Black - done by Vincent - Woodie - 06-08-2010 07:06 AM Another top notch job Vincent. It's just such a pity that what could be an absolutely stunning finish is ruined a bit by the amount of orange peel evident. Must agree with Kripstoe - I'd love one of those in my driveway. It's the one car that I have driven that has left vivid memories in my mind. I wouldn't mind doing it for a living, if only we had a decent market for the service in SA RE: Audi RS4 - Black - done by Vincent - Torres1 - 06-08-2010 10:31 AM WOW!!! Once again great work Vincent. I seek to learn the way of the jedi..LOL!! RS4 - what a machine! RE: Audi RS4 - Black - done by Vincent - springbok - 06-08-2010 11:25 PM Consistantly excellent work. Also good to note that some dealerships are using "proper" detailers before handing vehicle to the new owner .... Awesome !!!
