Let me know if you want it. RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - D.O.Double G - 29-01-2009 09:53 AM Whats the price of it? RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - Starvekos - 29-01-2009 09:58 AM (12-12-2008 03:15 PM)calypso Wrote: I just spoke to him, R1500 and its yours. Otherwise he will keep it. DOGG, I would highly recommend purchasing this polisher at this price. Even if you are new to machine polishing, I would say take the plunge and take time to pick up the skill from enthusiasts that are already using the rotary polisher as the tool of choice. RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - D.O.Double G - 29-01-2009 10:32 AM If thats what you recommend siya, then why not? i seen your work and its brilliant. Metabo is a good make by the way. Calypso, Ask him if we can Negotiate. R1300 RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - calypso - 29-01-2009 11:01 AM Sorry no negotiations, the price has already been reduced from R2000. Also remember, you will need to pay for postage from Port Elizabeth. The closest competitor, the Makita 9227CB, retails for around R2,300. So this offer is a no brainer, don't lose out on this deal because you are trying to save a couple of bob for a round of drinks at the pub RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - D.O.Double G - 29-01-2009 08:09 PM ok Calypso, Will the guy keep it for me until the end of feb, then ill have enuf cash and take it off you. Ill sort the psotage out as well. I might go to PE in March. RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - calypso - 29-01-2009 08:33 PM Well if someone else want to take it before then, you will loose out, otherwise its ready and waiting. RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - D.O.Double G - 30-01-2009 09:00 AM OK cool, not a problem, WIll query again closer to the time but i definitely need one. RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - Wells - 12-08-2009 01:14 PM I just grabbed this rotary from Mark, thanks to Calypso, was very surprised that it was still available after basically a year. I am very excited to learn how to tame the beast, never used a rotary before, so a test panel, then my test vehicle and lastly my baby. Hope that the learning curve is not to hectic. Thanks again to Calypso. RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - freerider - 12-08-2009 02:13 PM lekker, have you got hold of a test panel yet? Calypso has a shoddy old silver m3 bonnet in his garage that I'm sure you can have RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - Wells - 12-08-2009 03:49 PM haha, I will rather swing by my local Alfa Romeo graveyard and pick up a bootlid or something tomorrow. But the bonnet is a good 2nd option though. got some builders halogens now too, so all set for a weekend of learning. RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - calypso - 12-08-2009 06:36 PM Just check the old Alfa bonnet is clear coated. You might find the older ones are single stage. Take it slow and easy to start and you'll be fine RE: Metabo PE12-175 rotary - Wells - 13-08-2009 04:03 PM Thanks Calypso, that link was amazing, almost like watching a vid of it, the writer really knows his stuff it seems, sure it is gonna be of help when practising. |
